Lighting Up the Village - 29th November
One of the highlights of the season is the Christmas Tree Light Switch-On. This is being held next to Marks & Spencer at 5:30pm - with special guests.
Sing along to all your your Christmas favourites with the amazing FUNKY LITTLE CHOIR.
Join local residents, shoppers and families to gather around the tree and enjoy music, warmth and that unmistakable holiday buzz.
Westbourne Christmas Market at the Libertine - 29th November
On 29th November, from 10am-4pm, the Libertine pub & Westbourne Artisan Market will host the Westbourne Christmas Market. There is free entry to this fantastic market where you can visit 16 sustainable Dorset artisans.
Enjoy live music from Lisa Locarno at 1pm, plus mulled wine at the bar! This event is also dog friendly.
Festive Events - Santa visits Westbourne on 6th December
The celebrations don't just stop at lights. On Saturday 6th December, the Westbourne Arcade hosts a full day of Christmas festivities from 10:30 - 2pm:
Santa arrival is at 10:30 outside the Attico shop.
The celebrations include live music from Sound of Soul Bournemouth at 11:30 and 1pm.
Throughout the day enjoy singing, entertainment, a visit from Santa and donkeys!!
It’s a joyful celebration of community - where local businesses, families and visitors can soak up the cheerful atmosphere while exploring boutique shops, grabbing a seasonal treat, or simply enjoying the moment.
