The festive party menu balances Christmas favourites with dishes for those who fancy something different. Start with smoked salmon accompanied by a citrus and fennel salad, warming squash soup, or croquettes combining ox cheek with blue cheese. Turkey comes with the familiar festive accompaniments, including roast potatoes, winter vegetables, a pig in blanket and cranberry sauce.

There’s also roast beef, seabream with celeriac and greens, and a vegan nut roast made with parsnip and celeriac. For pudding, choose a traditional Christmas favourite with brandy-flavoured ice cream, a crumble bringing together apple, fig and chestnut, or a refreshing citrus posset. If you’d rather hand over the cooking on 25 December, the Christmas Day menu costs £99 per person. Starters include scallops baked with a butter flavoured with garlic and clementine, venison carpaccio, and an artichoke tart with truffle. Main courses range from a festive combination of turkey, gammon and duck to aged sirloin, halibut, or a vegan Wellington filled with beetroot and mushrooms.
