It was originally established as Bournemouth High School in 1886 by founding headmistress Mary Broad.
The school operates as a Church of England institution whilst remaining open to students of all faiths and none, demonstrating its commitment to inclusive education within a structured faith-based framework.
With a current enrollment of 629 pupils across primary, secondary, and sixth form levels, Talbot Heath represents one of the largest independent schools in the area.
