This specialist charity focuses on supporting individuals and families affected by the rare genetic skin condition epidermolysis bullosa, with their charity shops enabling local residents to contribute to vital medical research and patient support programmes through their purchases and donations of quality second-hand goods. The shop is open Monday-Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00.
The shop welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm, remaining closed on Sundays. The well-organised shop offers wheelchair access and stocks a carefully curated selection of sustainable fashion, quality homeware, books, and various household items donated by the local community.
DEBRA's Retail Gift Aid scheme allows donors to maximise their contribution, enabling the charity to claim an additional 25p from HMRC for every £1 raised from donated items at no extra cost to the donor.
The shop accepts donations of clothing, shoes, bags, books, electrical items, and furniture, though they maintain clear guidelines about items they cannot sell to ensure quality and safety standards.
