Bournemouth JKA Karate Club

Bournemouth JKA Karate Club is a welcoming martial arts group offering classes to adults and children over the age of 5. Both beginners and experienced karateka will gain valuable skills from the experienced instructors, who are affiliated to the Japan Karate Association of England. 

To join, you must pay monthly fees, as well as buy a white karategi (uniform) and £30 annual JKA membership. Members can take part in regional and national competitions, challenging and honing your skills. The instructors follow the style of Shotokan Karate and are first aid trained. Children's training takes place Monday, Thursday and Friday 6.30pm-7.30pm. The adult session is 6.45pm-7.45pm on Friday.
